What is Featured Agent Ads?
Featured Agent Ads is a premium advertising placement that highlights your agent profile across Property Genie's search results. Your profile appears in top positions on both mobile and desktop when buyers and renters are actively browsing listings in your selected states.
We've bundled the states to help agents get maximum visibility and higher impressions from a single ad placement.
Our data shows that property seekers explore many areas within a region — so instead of limiting exposure, we group nearby markets together to give your profile broader reach, stronger visibility, and better overall value from one booking.
Where will my Featured Agent Ad appear?
Your profile will appear at the top of Property Genie's "For Sale", "For Rent", and "Auction" pages under your selected state bundle. For example, if you select Johor + Melaka + Pahang + Perak, your ad appears across all listings within those three states.
What is the booking duration?
You can choose from 7, 14, 21, or 28 days. Each bundle's listed price (e.g. RM90 for the bundle: Johor + Melaka + Pahang + Perak) represents the cost for a 7-day placement. The total will adjust automatically based on the duration you select.
What does the "+" sign mean in the bundle name?
The "+" symbol means your placement includes multiple states grouped together. For example, the Johor + Melaka + Pahang + Perak bundle covers visibility across all four states simultaneously—giving you greater exposure at one price.
Can I select only one state within a bundle?
Not at the moment. Bundles are designed to offer wider reach and better value, so individual states within a bundle can't be separated. You'll still get exposure across all areas under the selected bundle.
When will my Featured Agent Ad go live after I book?
Your ad will automatically go live the next day at 12:01 AM. Example: if you complete your booking at 4 PM on 31 October 2025, your 7-day placement runs from 1November 2025 to 7 November 2025.
How many slots are available per location bundle?
Each bundle has 6 available slots only, ensuring exclusivity and consistent visibility for each featured agent.
What kind of exposure can I expect?
Each bundle offers different estimated impressions based on Property Genie platform traffic reach and impressions for the past 5 months.
For example:
- Kuala Lumpur – over 1.2 million impressions
- Selangor + N. Sembilan + Putrajaya – more than400k+ impressions
- Johor + Melaka + Pahang – more than 200k+ impressions
I can't find my ad in some smaller areas — is that normal?
Yes, that's expected. Your ad appears on pages with defined area slugs (e.g. propertygenie.com.my/for-sale/house/in-bentong-state-pahang) where traffic is highest. Some additional locations shown in the search bar are Google-suggested addresses, which don't have separate listing pages. Your exposure remains optimized on the main area pages where property seekers are most active.
How do I know my ad is active?
Once your ad goes live, you'll see an "Active Ads" tab inside your dashboard showing the live duration, location bundle, and end date.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major payment methods:
- Credit / Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard)
- E-wallets (GrabPay, TnG, ShopeePay, etc.)
- Online Banking (FPX)
You can select your preferred payment option during checkout after choosing your location bundle and duration.
Who can book a Featured Agent Ad?
This feature is exclusive to subscribed agents only. If you already have an active Essential or Standardsubscription plan, you can book your Featured Agent Ads directly from your agent dashboard.
If your account is registered but not subscribed yet, you can still view and explore the feature but you'll need to activate a subscription package first before booking.
This ensures that all active Featured Ads belong to verified, subscribed agents on Property Genie.
Can I edit or change my Featured Agent Ad after booking?
Once your ad is live, the selected bundle and duration can't be changed.
However, you can update your agent profile photo, description, and contact details anytime, these changes will automatically reflect in your Featured Ad while it's running.
Can I cancel or get a refund after booking?
All Featured Agent Ad bookings are final and non-refundable once payment is confirmed.
If you need to pause or reschedule for a valid reason (e.g. technical error or duplicate booking), please contact Property Genie Supportwithin 24 hours for assistance.
Can I run more than one Featured Agent Ad at the same time?
Yes! You can book multiple bundles if you want broader exposure across different states.
For example, you can run one ad for "Kuala Lumpur" and another for "Johor + Melaka + Pahang + Perak" simultaneously.
What happens when my ad duration ends?
Once your campaign period ends, your Featured Ad will automatically be removed from the top section of search results.
