PR1MA @ Lumut is a federal affordable housing residential development positioned within the Manjung district of Perak, in the Lumut area, developed by PR1MA Corporation Malaysia. The project extends PR1MA's federal affordable housing programme into Lumut — Perak's key coastal naval and ferry-gateway town.
Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia (PR1MA) is a federal-government affordable housing programme established under the Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia Act 2012 (Act 739), administered by PR1MA Corporation Malaysia. The programme is designed to plan, develop, construct, and maintain affordable, high-quality homes for middle-income Malaysian households (typically with combined household income between RM2,500 and RM15,000 per month). PR1MA homes are developed in strategic locations across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak, offering 100% homeownership through transparent ballot allocation.
Lumut hosts the Royal Malaysian Navy's primary fleet base (RMN Lumut), driving sustained naval personnel, contractor, and supporting-industry residential demand. The town also serves as the ferry gateway to Pangkor Island via the Lumut Marine Park terminal.
Lumut is served by Federal Route 60 along the Perak coast, the West Coast Expressway (WCE) for Klang Valley connectivity, and the Pangkor Island ferry from Lumut Marine Park terminal.
Residents enjoy Lumut's coastal character, RMN Lumut proximity, Pangkor Island ferry access, and reach to Sitiawan town. Healthcare is supported by Hospital Seri Manjung.
Developed by PR1MA Corporation Malaysia — a federal statutory body established under the Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia Act 2012 (Act 739) and operating under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT). PR1MA Corporation has delivered affordable homes across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak.
