Old Klang Road, also known as Jalan Klang Lama, holds the distinction of being the oldest major road in Kuala Lumpur. Constructed by the Federation of Malaya government from 1956 to 1959, the road opened on 14 January 1959, connecting the towns of Sungei Way and Petaling Jaya. It predates the Federal Highway and remains a vital route in the city's history.
As you traverse Old Klang Road, encounter iconic landmarks such as Mid Valley Megamall, The Scott Garden, Pearl Point, and the nature haven, Eco Park. The vibrant atmosphere and diverse offerings make this area a sought-after location for residents seeking a blend of history and modern amenities.
Experience seamless connectivity with major junctions including PJS 8, Petaling Jaya, and the New Pantai Expressway. The road links the east and west ends through key routes like Jalan Kuchai Lama and the East–West Link Expressway. At the east end, discover the allure of Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur, adding to the overall appeal of Old Klang Road.
